Principal's Desk
Dr. Subhasis Panda joined as the Principal at Government General Degree College, Singur, Hooghly, affiliated to the University of Burdwan on 10th September 2025. Previously Dr. Panda served as the principal at Govt General Degree College Chapra (affiliated to the University of Kalyani) since 19th February 2021 till 9th September 2025. He also served as an Associate Professor of Botany in the Laboratory of Angiosperm Taxonomy & Biodiversity Conservation, Botany Department, Maulana Azad College, University of Calcutta, Post Graduate Department of Botany, Darjeeling Govt College affiliated to North Bengal University, Post Graduate Dept of Botany, Barasat Govt College affiliated to West Bengal State University and Bankura Christian College affiliated to University of Burdwan.
